devarakonda A film on human values and promotion of artisans

Unlike earlier films, R Narayana Murthy slightly deviated from his path to bring out a film by touching various issues like, travails of traditional artisans, the craze for foreign jobs in the name of earning dollars, the attacks on innocent girls by crazy youth in college etc., Earlier, most of his films highlighted the armed struggle, revolution and other such issues. But this time, the film doesn't have violence and has lots of commercial values. Though he deviated from his path slightly, the audiences continues to ignore his film and only the hardcore fans of his films turned up to watch the movie.

terrorAn old fashioned socio-fantasy flick

AA Arts which had earlier produced several hit films like 'Police, Deva, Amma Nagamma and Amma Durgamma' once again brought yet another socio-fantasy film with snakes in its backdrop. The director of the film L Sanjeeva himself scripted the story and screenplay. Had the film come in the 80s or in early 90s, it would have some commercial value but with the changed times, such socio-fantasy movies were a strict 'no-no' for the current generation audiences.

VinayakuduTypical love story with a 'fatty' hero

Premkumar Patra, who had produced 'Aa Naluguru' earlier, earned a good name for choosing a different message-oriented subject. In fact, he earned laurels for choosing an off beat subject for his film. After giving a nice movie with a good message, the same producer changed his track and chose a love subject for his next film. Though it is a love story, Premkumar showed the difference that love did not arise only between a cute couple and even those who was fat and who is black could also fall in love and it was the soul which is very important than the bodily beauty. He introduced Sai Kiran Adivi as director.

suryaThe attachment between a father and son

Several films had come up on the screen with father and son and their intimate relationship. Gautham Menon, who is known for moulding his individual thoughts impressively on the screen, once again came out with a brilliant story. Moreover, it appears as he penned a story of his own out of his personal life. The lot of attachment he had with his father and his untimely death leaving a big void in his life was portrayed on the screen. However, he mixed the love part in the middle which ate the major portion of the film leaving no scope to really explain the intimacy between the father and son.

avakaiMixing of Avakai and Biryani really tasteful????!!!!!!!!!

Avakai (Mango pickle) represents the true Hindu, especially of North Andhra or coastal region. At the same time, biryani, the Hyderabadi cuisine, could be equated to Muslim culture. The film story was named after a love story between a Hindu girl and a Muslim boy. Amigos Creation is known for bringing out films with a touch of class and silent hits, once again brought out a decent love subject. Anish Kuruvilla, an associate of Sekhar Kammula, made his debut as director through this movie and Sekhar Kammula himself turned a producer to promote Anish as director, but the film had the complete scent of Sekhar's direction.

uday kiranYet another failure from Udaykiran

Udaykiran, who gained a lover boy image, gave a couple of hits, and turned a failure after that. He was off the screen for some time and made his reentry into the Tollywood. However, luck did not favour him and he continued to give successive flops one after the other. He kept high hopes on his recent release 'Gunde Jhallumandi' and even postponed the dubbing activity of 'Eka'love'yudu'. After that film bumped at Box Office, he concentrated on the latter which had hit the screen on November 7. The unimpressive narration, poor directorial ability and the movement of story beyond logic once again turned out to be another failure in Udaykiran's account.

yuvathaA film on friendship with nice twist

Parasuram, a protégé of Puri Jagannath, got a promotion as director with Yuvatha. He prepared a subject with friendship in its backdrop and highlighted the value of friendship. He started the film with a voice over of Puri Jagannath, narrating the greatness of friendship and its value. Though many films have come on the Telugu screen with friendship, this time, the director chose a typical movement in the subject with a gripping suspense all through the film.

oneNaveen fails to impress in action scenes

Vadde Naveen, no doubt, is a promising hero. However, he did not have notable hits to his credit but for a couple of films. However, he is trying his best to get an adequate break. This time, he got an opportunity to prove his calibre in a film which had several elements including sentiment, action, love and romantic drama. Krishna Teja made his debut with the movie while Nalla Charan Reddy produced it. Though the film has nothing novel, the director tries to prove how the hero emerged winner in a fight with the land mafia.

bladeA hilarious comedy again from Naresh

Naresh, son of EVV Satyanarayana, entered the film industry with 'Allari'. His sense of comedy is excellent and it proved the popular maxim 'A flower that blossomed with instant fragrance' (Puvvu Puttagane Parimalinchinatlu). Though he tried his hand to do different films like 'Nenu' and 'Pranam', he realised that the audiences are expecting him in comedy hero roles. Moreover, there was a big talk that 'Allari' Naresh filled the gap left by Rajendra Prasad, who played in many entertainment-based films. So he is now choosing such roles to tickle the funny bone of the audiences.

Imitation of jewellery can't be gold ksp

Vamsi is a great director who dished out several entertainers with village as the backdrop. Most of his films will have a bunch of comedians and most of them will reflect different mindsets of people in a village. While watching the Vamsi's comedy flicks the audiences can heartily laugh all through the film and the comedy bits continue to haunt the audiences even after they return home from theatres. Maddirala, a protégé of Vamsi, who worked for the past several years as his assistant got a promotion as director and he tried to imitate his mentor, but miserably failed with poor climax.

Poor screenplay and immature direction

heroIn order to bring out a good film, first the director should prepare a story which is different from routine. It should come from the thoughts but it should not be a bit and piece from an old flick and mere joining of different scenes from different films would not be useful. Sudhakar Naidu @ GV, who is so far happy as a character artiste, playing roles with negative shades, turned a director. From all the experience he had from getting thrashed by the heroes, he prepared a story.
