A convincing film with good twists The title of the film 'Ashta Chemma' evoked good response right from the day one of the shooting. Moreover, the presence of an award-winning director like Mohanakrishna Indraganti and popular Maa TV anchor-turned-artiste 'Swati' enhanced the craze on the film among the film lovers. Another interesting point in this film is the presence of Telugu stars alone with no other language artistes. |

Entertainment nil, suspense full It has become a practice for several producers to announce a film as a bilingual right from the beginning of shooting, in case, the artistes in the film are well-versed with the people of both languages. Though the film had the complete scent of Tamil language, the producers are trying to cash in on the image of the artistes in Telugu, by releasing the dubbed version, though they claim that they are producing the film simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. |

Ankit, Pallavi & Friends - One more youth film The film ankit Pallavi and friends is yet another light hearted film about today's youth, their dreams, ambitions and aspirations. Director Hari Yelletti is another NRI chap who quit a lucrative job in the US after working for 2 years and decided to take up direction. He teamed up with like minded friends for making the film.

 Director Udayshankar comes up with his new film Baladoor. The film produced by Suresh Babu on the Suresh Productions banner boast of good production values but the story is a bit to heavy on sentiment and for a jovial hero like Ravi Teja, it does not work out fully.
The story is about a Good Samaritan Krishna, his family and his brother Chandramohan and his son Chanti (Ravi Teja). Krishna drives way Pradeep Rawat from their village some twenty years back after Rawat rapes a young laborer working on their site. |
