Kamal Hassan, Venkatesh thriller Eenadu is releasing on the 18th of this month. As we know this is a remake of Bollywood hit 'A Wednesday'. Venkatesh in an interview said that the movie has no songs and fights but it is a commercial entertainer that makes the audience completely engaged in the movie. 

Kamal's daughter has given the background score for the movie. Venky says it was a great experience to work with a star like Kamal Hassan. He said that he grew up watching the stars talent and it is a great previlege to work with him in Eenadu.

Venkatesh is currently working on Namo Venkatesa which is being directed by Srinu Vytla and a new movie with Amma Rajashekar will start soon and it is titled as Ganga.

Padarella Vayasu starring Bhushan and Arya Vora is a youth entertainer in the direction of Sri Surya and is produced on Directors Movies. The audio has come out recently and the movie is in the process of dubbing and editing. One of the producers Kilari Hariprasad says that this movie is a message oriented love story for the youth and has all the commercial elements. The movie will release some time next month.

Along with Bhushan and Arya Vora, Venumadhav, MS Narayana, Krishna Bagavan, LB Sriram etc are acting in this movie

Dil Raju says that he has analyzed on different things to make his latest movie Josh. He said that he and his director analyzed on how a regular student thinks, a relation between student and his family, a relation between Principal, lecturer and a student and also analyzed relation between students and politics.

He says that his movie is a message oriented movie and families are starting to appreciate the movie just now. He said that people are responding by saying that it is a message oriented movie.

Dil Raju looks like he is trying really hard to market Josh. No one argues that Josh is not a message oriented movie but the message was not told properly. The only survivor from Josh is Naga Chaitanya as his performance is being appreciated all over. This is the 9th film from Sri Venkateswara films.

Usha Kiran movies 83th Film with Jagapathi Babu is titled as Ninnu Kalisaka. Sivanageswara Rao who directed movies like Money, Pattukondi Choodham, Sisindri etc is going to direct this movie. Except Jagapati Babu this movie has mostly new faces. 

The last movie from Usha Kiran Movies is Nachavule with all new face in the direction of Ravi Babu which is a big hit after a long time. They continue the naming sentiment that starts with 'N' (Nuvve Kavali, Nacchavu Le and now Ninnu Kalisaka). The audio for the movie will be released on September 9th at Ramoji Film City.

Latest Blockbuster Magadheera has collected a total of 47 crores in 5 Weeks.Magadheera has already crossed 50 crores all over the world in just after three weeks. It broke all tollywood records including that of Pokiri. But it still has to break the records in terms of 100 days and 50 day centers. The amount can be big if the movie was released in a big number of theaters and due to initial success. But we will have to wait and see if the movie will break the records in the number of days and number of theaters will sustain for 50 days and 100 days.

Srikanth's 100th Film Mahatma's Trailer was launched today (September 7th) at FNCC, Hyderabad.  Ravi Teja was the chief guest for the event. The trailer was supposed to release on the 3rd September but was postponed due to YSR incident. Srikanth said that he is happy that his 100th movie is being directed by Krishna Vamsi and that he wanted this to happen a while ago.

Krishna Vamsi said that he made the movie taking Srikanth's character into consideration. He said Srikanth has some qualities of Mahatma in real life.

Sirivennala Seetha Ramasastri has given lyrics to the main song that describes the story of the movie. Music will be out on the 19th of this month. Manohar is producing this movie on Golden Lion Films.

Around 38 awards were announced today for 55th Natiional Film Awards for the year 2007. There was not a single award for a Telugu Film. Tamil films got the Best Film and Best Actor awards even dominating Bollywood movies. But none of the Telugu films were selected, unfortunately not even in the Regional Best films. There were even Bengali, Marathi films.  

Happy Days,  Mee Sreyobilashi, Amulyam, O Chinnari Korika were nominated for the feature film category but none were selected. When one of the judges was asked the same, she replied that Telugu movies were made with high standards but there is no standard in the content.

Thats a big note our producers and directors have to make. This should be good lesson for Telugu movie makers. Just remaking and copiying from Hollywood movies does not take you anywhere. Something original will always yeild results.2009 has not improved a lot either.

Gopichand has completed his current project Shankam which will be released in the 11th of this month. Gopichand's next movie is going to in the direction of Puri Jagannath. And the movie is titled as Golimaar. Puri is currently directing Ek Niranjan with Prabhas and Kangana Ranauth. This new movie Golimaar will start right after the completion of Ek Niranjan. The other cast will be soon announced. 

Tirupathi, Sep 6, 2009: Dr Rajashekar and Jeevitha said that they are planning to make a movie and YS Rajashekar Reddy with the title Lokanayakudu. Jeevitha and Rajashekar have been strongly supporting congress from the begnining and they continued that even after Jevitha was denied a seat during the last elections. Both of them are in support to make YS Jagan the next Chief Mister of Andhra Pradesh.
Lokanayakudu is the title that Rajashekar used for his movie Jayamandhe (During the titles). Not sure what he is thinking by making a movie with his title on YSR.

Allu Arjun's movie that started in December in the direction of Guna Sekhar has been titles as Varudu. Yes the title which was speculated for long waited Mahesh - Trivikram's movie. It seems that Nallamalapu Bujji, the gave away the title to this movie producer. Now the new Varudu is Allu Arjun. A new heroine is acting opposite Arjun. Tamil hero Arya is the villain. Suhasini and Naresh are playing important roles.

Manisarma is composing the music for this film. The movie went on floors in december when Ram Charan gave the first clap as VV Vinayak switched on the camera and SS Rajamouli directed the first shot.

Naga Chaitanya's debut Josh was supposed to release on the 3rd September but postponed for 5th due to CM's tragic incident. Now the producer Dil Raju has decided to release it on the 5th. He wanted to release it next week but he is concerned that the pirated CD's and DVD's might come out as the prints have already been dispatched. Even the overseas location got the prints on the 3rd itself.

But the producer says that he knows that the initial collections will be very low as it takes time for Telugu people to come out of the shock and tragedy of the CM's unexpected demise. But Dil Raju is confident that a good movie will slowly pick up even if the initial collections are slow. It looks like the producer has no choice but to release it. He is stuck either way.
