Nandamuri Harikrishna, an Artiste turned Politician is celebrating his birthday today (September 2nd). He born to the legendary artiste and Politician N.T.Rama Rao and Basavatarakam. At present Nandamuri Harikrishna is the member of Rajya Sabha, an Upper House in Indian Parliament. He has worked as Minister in TDP Government in Andhra Pradesh. He had three sons Janikiram, Kalyanram and Jr.NTR and one daughter Suhasini. He has given performance in the films as Child star in the films like Thathammakala and Thalla Pellama. Later on his acting is highly appreciated as Hero in the films Tiger Harichandra, Sivarama Raju, SriRamulayya. He did Arjuna character in the Old classical ‘Dana veera soora Karna”.

This seems like a odd combination. A combination of K Viswanath who makes classical kind of movies and Allari Naresh who does Blade Babji kind of roles looks to be impossible but this is going to happen soon. Kala Tapasvi is going to direct Allari Naresh soon but this is going to be K Visawanath's style not Naresh Style. A famous producer is going to make this happen. Other cast and crew has to be finalized yet.

The premier show of the 2nd big release of the year will be premiered at Prasads Multiplex on the 2nd night (9:00 pm). Most of the top celebrities are expected to attend the premier. Starting from the movie launch everything was very huge for Josh. There was a lot of hungama for movie launch and also audio lauch and the same is expected for the premier. Anything with Nagachaitanya might be a hungama as his entire faimly is in the movie field. 

Josh will be released on 3rd all over. Check out the US schedules here. Some areas have premier on the 2nd night. Josh got a U/A rating by the censor and the report seems to be pretty good and is said to be a youth oriented movie. We will have to wait and see how good the censor reports are.

Desamudhuru, Kantri, Maska star Hansika got popular with just three movies and has also done a guest role in Billa. Strawberry beauty is acting oppostie Kalyan Ram for her next movie. She says that she does not want to act in movies just for money and that does not give importance to the story line. She said that she heard 8 stories but like only this one with Kalyan Ram. The movie with Kalyan Ram has good story line and she is doing a character with comedy in it. When asked if she learned telugu already Hansika said that she can understand it but can not talk yet. She is looking forward to learn and talk telugu.

Comedian Bramhanandam's son Gautham has made his debut with Pallakilo Pellikoothuru with Rathi which was directed by Suchitra Chandrabose. The movie went nowhere at the box-office. Now Bramhi is launching his son again for another try one more time after giving Goutham enough training that is necessary for good acting. This time it is director Chandrashekar Yeleti who recently directed Prayanam is going to direct this movie and is in search of the heroine right now.

Mahesh Babu has agreed to do another film. What a relief for the fans. His last movie was release in October 2007. Can you beleive that he has no movies for two years? His movie with Trivikram is only half way done and might not release this year. Putting this aside he has agreed to do another film with Srinu Vytla who directed entertainers like Dhee, Ready and King. This movie will start sometime early next year.

Mahesh Babu is currently shooting in Hyderabad for Varudu and will go to Rajashan for a month or so to complete part of the movie schedule.

AR Rahaman and Soundarya Rajinikanth will be in the US (Atalanta) for the song recording for Rajinkanth's animation Sultan the Warrior. They will continue the recording work until the 4th September before leaving to India.

Rajni’s daughter Soundarya Rajnikanth is producing this film with an estimated budget of Rs.60cr.This prestigious animated film is coming out in 18 languages all over the world. This is a world record and the credit goes to one and only Soundarya. Chennai-28 fame hero-ine Vijayalakshmi is playing as a hero-ine in this flick. Music Mastero A.R.Rahman is composing music for this film and has five songs in it.Shruthi Kamala Hassan lent her voice for one song in this flick.

Banam is a much awaited film produced by Seshu Priyanka Chalasani on Three Angels Studio from the house of Vyjayanthi Movies. The movie is starred by Nara Rohit, nephew of Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, President Telugu Desam Party. Chaitanya Dantuluri, son of late Shri D. Narayana Varma, popular film journalist and writer, is debuting as a director, which would hit screens from 16th of September 2009. Nara Rohit is paired with actress Vedika for the first time in this movie. This movie has been made on a good budget by producer Seshu Priyanka Chalasani of Three Angels Studio. The music has been done by Mani Sharma and the cinematographer is Anil Bandari. The lyrics have been written by Vanamali, Ramajogaiah Sastry, Krishna Chaitanya.

Highlights of the film:

1. The movie is extensively shot in Bobbili, Vijayanagaram, Bhimili, Vishakapatnam, Pollachi, Ooty and Allepy, Palakhad.

Nagarjuna has celebrated his birthday today along with his son Nagachaitanya on Maa TV. As the release of Josh is coming close Nag says that  he is very nervous. Josh is releasing on the 3rd of September. Nagarjuna also said that he wants Nagachaitanya to take the success and failure of the movie in the same way. He says he does not expect that the movie to be a big success and the people will decide that.

Taking about his new movie with Kamakshi Movies, Nag said that he is playing a (Coin Man) gambler as expected. He said it is a fun movie and he is doing it as he likes it. 

Nagachaitanya is playing Sakshi in Josh and Radha's daughter Karthika is playing opposite him.

Dr Rajendra Prasad's English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil movie Qucik Gun Murugan is all set to release tomorrow (Aug 28th). Rambha is playing oppisite Rajendra Prasad as Mango Dolly. Just before the release Qucik Gun has got into trouble. As this is a comedy movie, there are satires on various people and one of them being the role played by Nazar called Rice Plate Reddy and the reason behind Reddy anger. 

Most of the characters in the movie are named similarly like Rowdy MBA, Mango Dolly, Gun Powder etc. The movie is directed by  Shahank Mahesh . Mika Singh sang a song which was shot on Rajendra Prasad with Russian models.

A new director Kiran is directing this movie. Sandeep Chowta is composing the music. As we know Nagarjuna's other movie was titled Payanam recently and that is being directed by Akasamantha director.

Very few directors create sensation in the news. Only Maniratnam and Ramgopal Varma has that popularity. SS Rajamouli has joined that league of creating sensation in what ever he does. SS Rajamouli is planning another historic movie with Prabhas and it is going to be Brahmarshi Vishwamitra. His mentor K Raghavendra Rao is going to produce this movie. SS is currently busy with Sunil's Maryadha Ramanna. The initial talks for this movie are going on right now. This movie might start after this project if at all it materializes.

Venkatesh is coming in a third movie titled Ganga apart from Eenadu (with Kamal Hassan) and Namo Venkatesa (with Trisha). Ganga is being produced by Nallamalapu Srinivs who produced Lakshmi and Chintakayala Ravi with Venky. The movie is being directed by Amma Rajasekhar. Art director Thota Tharani  has desigend a special set worth Rs 3 crores in 5 Acre plot for Venky’s Ganga movie near Chilukuri Balaji temple in the outskirts of Hyderabad.

More than 200 members and technicians are working for this set from past one month. Most of the scenes of the film will be shot in this set. The makers have not selected the heroines yet and are still in the process.
