Red Cameras Used for Eenadu - Chakri

chakri eenaduChakri is the director of Kamal Hassan and Venkatesh starrer Eenadu. Chakri who acted as a young photographer in Sagara Sangamam and also worked with Kamal Hassan in Dasavataram got a chance to direct a big movie on his debut.

Chakri says that Red Cameras are used for the first time in the history of telugu cinema. Red Cameras are digital cameras that do not contain any film. When asked why the team chose Red cameras instead of regular camera Chakri says that they give additional flexibilty, improves workflow and they are also faster and efficient. That gives him an option to tell the stories better.

Chakri says it is a great honor to work with great actors like Kamal Hassan and Venkatesh. He said that Kamal Hassan has given him suggestions while making the movie and that helped him a lot.
