RGV known for making bold movies and bold themes is again in controversy for his Rann Promo Trailer. The title song which is a modified version of National Anthem 'Jana Gana Mana' has created controversy. Ramgopal has modified National Anthem to depict the current situation of the country.

The promo was well shot and song makes perfect sense. But the Censor Board has asked RGV and Amithab to stop the promo or change it as it modifies the National Anthem and is against the law. Amithab has supported RGV in his decision but the censor will have the final say. 

Rann is a story that exposes the Indian Media on how they manipuate the news. The promo says "Think when you see the News Next Time" . Rann stars Amithab, Ritesh Deshmukh, Manisha Koirala etc.
