Controversial Mohan Babu was asked about his history of manhandling heroines during an interview by Andhra Jyothi owner on ABN channel. Mohan Babu tried to explain why he slapped Shilpa Shivanand (Sakshi Sivanand's sister). He explained that she insulted one of the talented directors and so he had to slap her. But the actual story that came out during the incident was different and there was also a complaint registered on Mohan Babu in July 2003.

Mohan Babu was also asked about his incident with senoir actress Jayanthi but he refused to comment on the issue.
