Krishna Vamsi's latest movie and Srikanth's 100th movie Mahatma is all set to release on the 2nd of October 2009. The movie is based on Mahatma Gandhi and his principles. The trailers and the promos look like it is a very violent movie. The story may be similar to Chiranjeevi's Shankar Dada Jindabad. But Shakar Dada is a soft movie with Chiranjeevi following Gandhi's principles after being a Dada who is almost comic in his actions. Did Krishna Vamsi pick up the same concept for his movie and made it violent? May be. But with the creative talent Krishna Vamsi has, lets hope that Mahatma will turn into a meaningful and sensible movie like Kadgam
