Creative director Ramgopal Varma says that he is just a film maker and is not concerned about giving a social message or to inspire any one with his movies. He responded to a question asked by a film critic who asked him why he is not making movies related to social good.
RGV bluntly said that he does not have the responsibility on the society. While the interviewer tried to convince him saying that the youth gets insipred by his movies he said the youth is getting inspired only when he acting irresponsibly but if he starts behaving in a good manner no one is going to follow him anymore.

RGV openly agreed that copies most of his movies from Hollywood and his creativity lies in making the story apply to the local situation.

RGV is one of the most talented film makers in India but he has been contantly questioned by the critics for the subjects to his movies. RGV is one bold and open minded director. Most people wish that RGV make a movie with a social message but with RGV it may not ever happen.

Ramgopal Varma is currently making Raktha Charitra on the story behind Paritala Ravi. He is making this into 2 parts. The first one will hit screens in January 2010 and the second one after a couple of months.
